Cerebellar contribution to preparatory activity in motor neocortex (2018)
Francois pierre Chabrol, Antonin Blot, Thomas D. Mrsic-Flogel
In this paper, Chabrol and colleagues reported a similar results as Gao et al., Nature (2018). Silencing the activity in the a deep cerebellar nucleus (dentate nucleus) by photoactivation of Purkinje cells caused robust, short-latency suppression in the majority of the anterolateral motor cortex (ALM) neurons exhibiting preparatory activity.
